Just bought a roborovski myself, really hard to photograph the little guys unless they are eating or sleeping, they're just too fast, nice photo, maybe lighten a little in photoshop, otherwise a great shot

I never edit my photos of the robos. They are pretty hard to catch. :) I have a few good ones posted though.

I've never tried live foods with the hammies before. My gerbils love them (two of them at least) so it's probably worth a shot. :)

When our little girls eat the worms their eyes get really big and sparkly. Haha...they are in heaven. And they tend to snatch them from us quite forcefully. :)

^_^ That happened with my Topaz (gerbil). She rather forcefully grabbed the mealworm. Her tankmate, however...was rather scared of the thing. ;P

Really? Hahaha. None of ours were scared at all. I gave Kiba one that was really big and wriggly. It was trying to get away for a long time that she was chomping on it and she didn't seem to care at all. Then again, nothing scares Kiba. =D
